College & University Training - St. Lawrence College
The SMART Underground Program will be a training ground for new employees. With the new curriculum in place at St. Lawrence College, a new education and certification program is set to be implemented as early as fall 2007. As part of the program, we will provide an apprentice program for future graduates in all areas of trenchless technology. This will allow for trained individuals to be available for corporate provincial and federal expansion. The college program will teach health and safety, confined space, equipment operation and repair; basic understanding of sewer and water systems, sewer inspection training along with hands on installation methods for various aspects of trenchless rehabilitation.
